BetterShop

Challenge:

We envisioned a shopping experience where customers aren't limited to single-store orders. Why make three separate orders from three stores when you need items from all of them? Our goal was to build a platform where a customer could add groceries from one store, electronics from another, and pharmacy items from a third — all in one cart, delivered together, at the same time.

Approach

BetterShop's multi-store cart system intelligently coordinates with merchants and delivery partners. When an order spans multiple stores, the system optimizes pickup routes and synchronizes preparation times for simultaneous delivery. Store aggregation surfaces products from nearby merchants in a unified catalog, while individual store pages maintain full brand customization.

Design Direction

The interface seamlessly blends marketplace browsing with store-specific experiences. Customers can discover products across all stores or dive deep into a single merchant's catalog. Our design system ensures visual consistency across the platform while giving merchants control over their storefront appearance, color schemes, and promotional layouts.

The coordinated delivery system communicates with BetterTaxi's dispatch engine in real-time, ensuring delivery partners arrive at each store precisely when orders are ready — minimizing wait times and maximizing delivery efficiency.
